Danny ends tough Le Mans weekend with 19th

Unfortunately it wasn’t an easy start for Danny Kent at today’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans, the Moto3 champion hit by heavy traffic and unable to advance his grid position. Mid-race he upped his pace and passed Viñales to get inside the top 20 with Mulhauser now just ahead.

Danny ended the race in 19th as teammate Oliveira took his first top ten of the season. Danny now has ten points in the Championship standings.

#52 Danny KENT – 19th:
“It has been a very tough weekend for me and the team, we’ve lost a lot of confidence in the front end. This is not where we want to be finishing, we need to figure out where we’re going wrong and we’ll go to Mugello starting from zero. We’ll work in a different way to try and get closer to the front. Sorry to the team as this isn’t where we want to be, we want to be closer to the front. We’ve got some time and we need to check the data and see where to improve.”
