Rib injuries force Danny Kent’s withdrawal from German GP

Despite promising work in the run-up to qualifying for tomorrow’s German GP, Danny Kent has been forced to withdraw because of rib injuries.

Danny was able to reduce the gap to the leaders to just 0.6s, but was forced to forego Qualifying after aggravating an older rib injury. He was taken to the nearby hospital in Chemnitz, doctors confirmed the fracture that stopped him from heading back out in the afternoon.

It is a great pity for the Moto3 World Champion who will sit out the ninth race of the season.
