The third and final free practice session will begin on Saturday, before the Moto2 class head out to decide the grid in the afternoon’s Qualifying session.
#52 Danny KENT – 5th (2’02.469):
“Today was 100% our best opening day all year. In FP1 we had a great feeling with the bike and ended up P4. In the second practice we were able to do some fast and consistent laps and ended up P5, less than 0.2 from the fastest. You know, I’m really happy with the work me and the team are doing. Already since the Spielberg test we made a step forward and the last laps of the race in Austria we were really fast, our pace was within the top six of the race. We came here and started the weekend strong, the motivation is high and we’re ready to keep working hard.”
