DNF brings difficult San Marino weekend to a close for Danny Kent

 In News

It has been a bitter weekend for the Team Leopard Racing riders, who return home without being able to collect any championship points, and in the case of Danny Kent, with their race cut short – A pity after both Danny and teammate Miguel Oliveira had managed a good start from the back, asserting themselves in the early stages of the race.

Danny’s race ended on Lap 7, falling from a points scoring position and unable to restart his Kalex. The 22 year old from Chippenham will have the opportunity to make up for the lost points in two weeks at the next race at Aragon, on September 23 to 25 weekend.

#52 Danny KENT – DNF:
“This is not the result we want. We lost out on Friday, we went in the wrong direction with bike setup and we finally fond our way on Saturday. But this left us once step behind. We always want to try to finish the races as high as possible, unfortunately during the race I was struggling to stop the bike. There was a lot of movement on the front end, sometimes the quick shifter didn’t work. Not the ideal weekend, very similar to Silverstone. All we can do it keep working hard.”
