Danny Kent runs as the only rider of the Leopard Racing team this weekend, following teammate Miguel Oliveira’s withdrawal with a broken collarbone from an accident in FP1.

The Moto3 World Champion, who last year qualified on the front row here, did well and managed to shave time off his best lap of FP1 and finished the day in 12th place on the combined timesheets, to +0978s leader Nakagami.

Saturday will begin with the third and final free practice session, before the field heads out to decide the starting grid for the Moto2 Grand Prix Movistar de Aragon in 2016.

#52 Danny KENT- 12th (1’54.680):
“This is one of our best Fridays from the last few races. There are a lot of positives from the day, I have a good feeling with the bike and we ended today in P12. There’s a lot of positives from today, I have a good feeling with the bike. Even on my best lap I made a few mistakes so there are still some tenths here and there to make back. We’ll see what we can improve tomorrow and I’m happy with how it all went.”
