Danny Kent 14th on Friday at Motegi, and feeling race potential
In Japan, Danny Kent himself again as the only rider of the Leopard Racing team after the withdrawal of his teammate due to injury.
As with two weeks ago at Aragon, Danny found himself defending the colours of Leopard Racing in Moto2. The Brit closed the two free practice sessions respectively in 10th and 14th position, by improving his best lap by seventh tenths. The Top Ten is a goal within reach, can Kent be at the center tomorrow in qualifying?
Tomorrow will open with the third and final free practice session, anticipating the afternoon show of formal qualifications that will decide the starting grid for the Moto2 Grand Prix of Japan Motul 2016.

“Overall I’m very satisfied with today’s work. I feel really good with the bike and the lap times are quite close. I’m very happy and geared up for tomorrow already. I know the potential is here and is much better. I feel good, I’m comfortable with the bike, I feel we can have a good weekend.”
