Danny struggles on day two in Texas, qualifying 24th but ready to fight

Danny Kent struggled on day two of practice with the Texan track in the run-up to the Grand Prix of the Americas.

Similarly, during the previous Grand Prix in Argentina two weeks ago, a change in weather wise during night caused different conditions with significantly cooler temperatures and strong winds. At least the weather remained dry this time.

Danny is still turning around in a circle to find his form again at the Circuit of The Americas. P24 on the grid is somewhat more than a bitter disappointment for the 2015 Moto3™ World Champion.

Starting time for Sunday’s round three is scheduled for 7:20 pm CET.

#52 Danny KENT, Grid position 24 – 2´10.932 (5/13):
“A disappointing outcome of this qualifying. Things are going very tough throughout the entire weekend. These positions are far off where we are under normal circumstances. I’m frustrated and disappointed, because we can’t find a right way. Hopefully we will make a big step for the race, however, we definitely face an even more difficult task tomorrow, coming from far down the order.”
